Photos of the 200 or so acre Ramirez Fire 8/7/09 in Duval County, Texas..... These photos show some of the VERY ACTIVE fire behavior that was present and the threat to several primary residences along Highway 339. Note that most of the flamage seen is backing fire behavior with 4-6 foot flame lengths in tall grass. Most of the head of this fire had been knocked down by the time I got here.
